Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I collect a soil sample?

Use a clean spade or probe to collect 10–15 cores from the area, 4–6 inches deep. Mix them in a clean bucket and bring about 1 pint to our office. We’ll take care of the rest.

  • How long does it take to get results?

Most tests are returned in 7–10 business days, depending on the season and lab volume.

  • Do you offer lime recommendations too?

Yes. We include lime needs based on soil pH and buffer capacity. We also carry lime and can spread it if needed.

  • Is testing only for farmers?

Not at all. Many of our customers are homeowners, food plot managers, or first-time landowners preparing new ground.
